Partnership for a Work Ready Syracuse

The purpose of the Partnership is to ensure that graduates in the Syracuse City Schools and other educational/training organizations are Work Ready.

The Partnership will focus on:

recruiting employers to serve as hosts for job shadows, internships, provide speakers, conduct projects. Click HERE to get involved.
increasing awareness and provide access to Career Ladder Maps to understand and articulate education and employment in key business growth areas
supporting the expansion of the Virtual College & Career Center (VCCC) to include manufacturing and other career areas
increasing awareness of and utilization of the Certificate of Workplace Competency
utilizing a new database/portal to make the partnership effective in coordination and reporting
expanding the partnership to other PEB member districts
